  • Can be cheaper
  • Can notify a lot of information all in one place
  • Can be a popular place for fans to visit
  • Viral marketing gets round
  • Much more interactive
Drawbacks
  • Over advertising can bring too much traffic
  • Complications can be caused - the internet may have problems, disconnected, crashed etc.
  • Not everyone has the internet - less fans
  • Hackers can enter and destroy the site and mess with information
  • Not everyone knows how to use the internet
  • Lots of adverts from web can distract fans from the site
